We spent 4th of July weekend back on the water in Lake Havasu, and it was every bit as wild, hot, crowded, patriotic, and fun as you’d expect.
This year was America’s 250th birthday, and Havasu showed up for it. Boats, jet skis, flags, floaties, music, pups, people packed along the shore, and plenty of action around London Bridge, Bridgewater Channel, Thompson Bay, and Rotary Beach.
We’ve got two new videos from the weekend up.
Friday kicked things off with the party just starting to build.
Here I am checking in from around Lake Havasu with the heat, the crowds, the boats, the party barges, and a look at how the weekend is coming together. I also talk with folks out on the water, check out the rentable Hava-Cabana barges, and get a first look at the holiday setup before everything really takes off.
Then Saturday got loud.
This one is Part 2 of our Lake Havasu 4th of July, and Saturday was chaos in the best way. The Bridgewater Channel was packed, Rotary Beach was jumping, and we caught a little bit of everything, from boat parties and floaties to interviews, patriotism, fireworks talk, and the kind of summer energy Havasu is known for.

Meet Scamp!
You may have seen me handing out Scamp stickers in our videos (or in real life? let us know!) already, so now he gets his proper introduction. Scamp is our little road dog mascot, keeping an eye on the bikes, boats, hot rods, race cars, and every stop along the way. You’ll be seeing more of him as we keep building out TrampsWorld.
And speaking of stops….
We’ll be up in Discovery Bay for the Big Cat Poker Run, catching the boats, the water, and the action out there.

That same weekend, we’re also planning to stop by an old friend, Stockton 99 Speedway.

That place has some history for us. Dolan used to be part of the crew for Larry and Wayne Pierce of Pierce Brothers Racing, and I used to sponsor the team through Randy Slimp Enterprises, and the family spent a lot of Saturdays down at that track.
So this one is a little bit new road, little bit old memories, and a whole lot of TrampsWorld.
