It’s a quiet week around TrampsWorld. We don’t have any new YouTube videos out since the last Road Notes, though we do have one in the works from the weekend, and we don’t have another event coming up just yet.

That might be for the best, because Lake Havasu is supposed to hit 117 degrees tomorrow. At that point, staying inside with the air conditioning isn’t being lazy. It’s a survival strategy.

We do, however, have some new videos up on TikTok. If you’re on there and you aren’t following us yet, you might want to check us out.

We’ve been slowly updating the TrampsWorld websites over the last couple of months, so now is a good time to announce our new Events Calendar.

The calendar includes motorcycle events, hot rod and classic car shows, boat gatherings, off-road races, dirt bike events, swap meets, and other motorsports happenings around the Southwest, especially Arizona, California, Nevada, and New Mexico.

There’s no way we could ever attend everything listed there. We built the calendar to help everybody find events, make plans, and maybe discover something they didn’t know was happening.

You can view events happening today, this weekend, or throughout the rest of the month. You can also filter by HotRodTramp, CycleTramp, DirtTramp, or RiverTramp events, or sort them by state. As we add more cities to the calendar, you’ll be able to filter by those too.

We’ll keep adding more events as we find them, so check back whenever you’re looking for somewhere to go or something to see. Let us know what you think, too. We have a few more features planned, so keep an eye on it.

For now, we’re staying out of the worst of the heat and working behind the scenes.

Although, I’m already getting restless, so I may try to find something going on up in the mountains where it’s a little cooler. Maybe I’ll even bring back some video. We’ll see what I can find.
